The Kempner Water Supply Corporation issued a text to customers at 8:59 a.m. this morning warning of temporary water restrictions for essential use only due to a leak on a 24-inch main line.

The L-M Garden and Civic Club held its annual flower show April 15. Many beautiful entries were featured in both the Horticulture and Design divisions.After judging all entries, Sheri Stone offered critiques of every class.

Man survives rollover wreck on U.S. 183 near Lometa

A man driving a box truck on U.S. Highway 183 is OK after surviving a rollover Thursday morning about three miles north of Lometa.Lometa Volunteer Fire Department Chief Bobby Odom said his crew was notified of an incident at 9:35 a.m. involving a box truck that was northbound on U.S. 183.
