Outside contractors from Fort Worth hired by the Kempner Water Supply Corp. completed repairs to a 24inch main line leak at 4 a.m. Thursday.

Commissioners receive delinquent tax report

The Lampasas County Commissioners Court has received a positive report concerning delinquent property tax collections.

CATTLE AUCTION

The report from the April 24 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.Cattle and calves: Total cattle 338, compared to 345 last sale and 338 at this time last year. Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers unevenly steady. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls steady. Feeder cattle accounted for 69%.

New edition of magazine makes its debut today

The 2024-2025 Guide to Lampasas magazine is included inside today’s edition of the Lampasas Dispatch Record. This 80page premium product is the culmination of a months-long project and is one of the most popular publications of the newspaper.

Early voting continues

Early voting for Lampasas and Lometa school board trustees plus Lometa City Council members continues on weekdays through Tuesday. The Lampasas ISD Board of Trustees has one contested race, and the Lometa ISD board has two positions up for election.
