Badger Jazz Band entertains

The Lampasas Band Boosters hosted its annual Tunes N’ Taters dinner and jazz concert fundraiser on April 20 at the high school gym. The event had a wonderful turnout, organizers said, and it was a fun evening listening to the jazz tunes.

Lometa dinner theater set for May 4

Lometa One-Act Play recently ended its 2024 season with a berth in the area contest, which took place in Stephenville April 13. While the final outcome wasn’t what Lometa had hoped, the group still had success during the season.

Cemetery associations

naruna Cemetery association The Naruna Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting on May 5 at 2 p.m. in the Naruna Baptist Church fellowship hall.Association members and ancestral family descendants of persons buried in the cemetery are encouraged to attend.

Disc golf course gets new signs

Volunteers with Wings of Eagles Outreach and Lampasas County Young Life have been at work updating and refurbishing signs at the local disc golf course. The course sits behind New Covenant Church in Lampasas and is available for public use during daylight hours.
