Multi-county vehicle pursuit ends in Lampasas

In an incident that authorities said might otherwise have ended as a “suicide by cop,” police convinced an armed and barricaded driver to exit his vehicle after a pursuit that began in Mason County ended in Lampasas on Sunday morning.

Kempner Water Supply Corp requests conservation

In a notice issued Monday morning, Kempner Water Supply Corp. requested voluntary conservation due to “circumstances outside of our control.”In an alert issued just before 10 a.m., KWSC officials notified customers of a situation affecting the water supply and quality.

Summer meal program continues at Hanna Springs campus

Lampasas ISD Nutrition Services is offering healthy, no-cost summer meals to children ages 18 and younger and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old.The summer meal program at Hanna Springs Elementary School serves breakfast from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m.
