Lampasas students have access to free mental health counseling

Lampasas ISD students now have access to mental health care as part of a state program that provides free telehealth counseling to any school district that signs up for the services.

Lampasas County 27th District Court convened briefly last week, with Judge John Gauntt presiding over the hearings.The court reset the following.A waiver of arraignment was filed for William Thomas Dunson of Copperas Cove, and a pretrial hearing for the defendant was moved to July 19.

City issues water quality report

Although the city of Lampasas did not experience any water quality violations last year, its annual water quality report shows that a water provider failed to notify users of quality violations on three separate occasions.

LPD investigates theft, reappearance of bowling balls from local business

Lampasas police are investigating the theft – and reappearance – of bowling balls from a local business.LPD Sgt. Investigator Garrett Bradley said Putters & Gutters Fun Center reported the theft of a shipment of bowling balls from its location at 2341 South U.S. Highway 281 on June 19 around midday.
