CTE students offer program highlights for Lampasas ISD school board

Ten Lampasas High School students involved in Career and Technical Education programs reviewed their work for the Lampasas Independent School District Board of Trustees during Monday’s regular meeting.Also, CTE Director Liz Haviland provided board members with updates about the program.

Preparing for the holidays

City workers were busy this week getting the county courthouse and downtown area ready to shine for Christmas. After securing the star atop the clock tower, holiday lights were strung around the courthouse square in preparation for the annual celebration of Christ’s birth.

American Legion Post 277 will put flags on veterans’ graves at Oak Hill Cemetery Saturday starting at 8 a.m. Volunteers are welcome.The post also will hold a short wreath-laying ceremony at the courthouse Monday at 11 a.m.
