Classics group celebrates 20 years

On the first Saturday in March, Classics at the Classic celebrated20 years of gatherings at Storm’s Drive-in. The group voted on a favorite classic. The winner was a 1968 Chevelle owned by Phillip Marez of Lampasas, pictured here. The next Classics gathering will be Saturday at 5 p.m.

Legislation to create Central Texas Water Alliance earns approval in Texas Senate

A bill to establish a Central Texas regional water authority has passed the Texas Senate and is now in the hands of Texas House lawmakers.Senate Bill 1194 seeks to create the Central Texas Water Alliance, a special district that can acquire water rights and manage wastewater infrastructure.
