Browning Club to learn about composting

The Browning Community Garden Club will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Kempner Volunteer Fire Department Training Building, 315 Pecan St.Speaker will be Tommy King, of the Williamson County Master Gardeners.He will teach about composting.

Lampasas, Burnet commissioners to host joint hearing on rail line

The Lampasas County Commissioners Court, along with the Burnet County Commissioners Court, will hold a joint public hearing April 8 on the proposed railway project planned by Texas Materials Inc.The meeting will take place at Hill Country Fellowship in Burnet at 6 p.m.
