Local car wash to unveil its new remodel this week

Badger Carwash is rolling out the red carpet for its grand reopening Tuesday through Thursday, and the community is invited to join in the celebration.Badger Carwash, at 105 East Avenue B, has helped car owners keep their vehicles spotless for 25 years.

Family dispute leads to shots fired, one dead in Lampasas

Lampasas County sheriff’s deputies found a Lampasas male deceased on April 4 at 3320 County Road 1020.Sheriff David Parker described the incident as a domestic disturbance. He said it represented no threat to the public but was a family dispute that went bad.

Burnet County hosts meeting on railroad project

Several hundred Lampasas County and Burnet County residents filled the Hill Country Fellowship sanctuary on Tuesday to hear updates and voice concerns about the proposed 26.9-mile rail line Texas Materials Inc. would like to construct.
