Lampasas Mission recognizes Benny Boyd

Lampasas Mission volunteers stopped by the Benny Boyd Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealership last Tuesday to present Benny Boyd Jr. a plaque of recognition for his support of the community nonprofit organization.

Library Foundation holds ornament fundraiser

The Lampasas Library Foundation is hosting an ornament fundraiser sale this holiday season.Ornaments are specially designed to represent the Lampasas Public Library.Sarah Gouak, a Lampasas Library Foundation board member, said this is the first year the board has organized this fundraiser.

Lometa Hometown Christmas festivities set for Dec. 21

The city of Lometa will host its annual Lometa Hometown Christmas Parade and Festivities on Dec. 21.The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m., after a parade lineup at the Lometa show barn. Following the parade, community members are welcome to come to Lometa City Hall at 7 p.m. for holiday festivities.
