L-M Club holds annual Christmas Party

On Dec. 16, the L-M Garden and Civic Club held its Christmas party at the club building in Lometa. Hostesses were Tico Hicks, Lewvon Hicks and Sue Anderson.Members enjoyed lots of great food dishes and had a fun time with the Chinese Christmas gift exchange.

Nanny goat births quadruplets

This momma goat named Dottie had a rare birth of four kids each a different color combination -- born on Dec. 20 at 2:05 p.m. All were reported healthy and rambunctious. The kids weighed in at 4.8 lbs., 4.8 lbs., 5.3 lbs. and 6.1 lbs. The mother was an F3 Boer goat, and the babies are F4.
