State health clinic offers vaccines, safety checks on child car seats

Lampasas County residents can receive a variety of free vaccines for children and adults at the Department of State Health Services clinic.Along with vaccine services, the clinic also offers assistance with child safety seats.The clinic is located at 205 Water St. in Lampasas.

The County Fair, held in conjunction with the Spring Ho Festival, is set for July 8-10 at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 401 S. Chestnut St.To spice things up this year, the ’36 Club – which hosts the County Fair – is planning a Saucy Salsa Contest.Salsa must be fresh, not canned.
