Davis residence open for Tour of Homes

One of the homes to be featured on this year’s Tour of Homes is that of Celia Davis at 26 Samac Lane. It will be open for touring on Dec. 4 as part of the annual Yuletide festivities in Lampasas. Tour tickets are available from the Lampasas County Museum.

Taylor Creek salutes military

Taylor Creek Elementary School had a full house last Tuesday night as the fourth-graders presented a program thanking veterans for their service.

Local officers provide Lampasas veteran with generous gift

Adamsville VFD hosts 55th Annual Deer Hunter's event

Adamsville Volunteer Fire Department held its 55th Annual Deer Hunter's Bar-B-Que on Saturday at the Adamsville Community Center. Anita Hyatt and the late Gordon Hyatt, Joyce Straley and the late Ed Straley, and Paul Elton were honored at this year's dinner.

Pierian Club plans Christmas concert

The 35th annual Pierian Christmas Concert is set for Dec. 13 at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 402 S. Key Ave. Music will be provided by soloists D’Anne Willis and Alicia Straley, Children in Action and HOPE Ensemble of First Baptist Church.

LHS students to perform ‘Beauty and the Beast’

Historic residence to be featured on tour

Previously known as the Cauthen House, 206 S. Walnut St. is now home to Rasty and Keitha Goodwin. It will be one of the featured stops on this year’s Tour of Homes, set for Dec. 4. Tour tickets are available from the Lampasas County Museum.

Highland Arts Guild to present Fall Show
