The Lampasas boys’ and girls’ varsity cross country teams competed in their first meet of the year in Temple on Friday.
The Lady Badgers finished third overall, and Abby Valdez medaled with a 14 th -place finish individually.
Tate Rainwater came in 13 th overall among the varsity boys and brought home a medal. Ben Stone set a new personal record time.
