The second inning of game two gave Burkburnett a lead too big to overcome in an otherwise competitive bi-district baseball series with Lampasas. No. 21 Burkburnett ended the Badgers’ season with a 5-3, 11-6 series score in Mineral Wells. The Bulldogs scored 10 runs in the bottom of the second inning in Saturday’s finale.
