The Badgers tied their best start in five seasons, at 7-1, after winning all three varsity boys’ basketball games last week. Lampasas beat Thorndale on the road Thursday with seasonhigh scoring at 87-78. On Friday at Burnet, the Badgers won 53-46 with one of their best defensive performances.
