Carson Bekker threw three innings of scoreless baseball in his last game, as Lampasas beat Glen Rose 7-2 at home on Tuesday. Bekker has played with a torn labrum and had surgery scheduled later this week.
In addition to starting on the mound, he drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and had a sacrifice bunt on Tuesday.
“He did great; he’s a tough kid,” head coach Chance Evans said.
