Lampasas went 3-1 at home in a 7-on-7 state qualifying tournament on Saturday. But a 13-6 loss to China Spring in the tournament finals kept the Badgers from advancing to the state championship. Burnet was originally the host for the 16-team tournament, but the day’s action was split between two sites, Burnet and Lampasas, each with eight teams.
