Leftism threatens even reddest states

Body
Idaho is one of the top five reddest states in America -- for now. The majority of its citizens are rock-ribbed conservatives, pro-life, pro-law-and-order and devoutly Christian. Voters have chosen Republican presidential candidates every year there since 1952 (with the exception of 1964).

The failure of America’s major religions on COVID-19

Body
For two years, Americans have been partially or entirely deprived of fundamental freedoms -- of assembly, speech, religious liberty, making a living, a child’s right to an education, access to early treatment for a potentially deadly virus, and more. Midterms won’t be kind to Democrats

Body
As we race toward this fall’s midterm elections, it is obvious to even cursory observers of our political landscape that Democrats are in for a shellacking. The solution of term limits would help solve the problem that the longer a person remains a politician, the more likely they are to become pawns of big-money donors and less representative of the common folks who first elected them.

China: more than meets the spy

Body
Whenever the U.S. goes head-to-head with China at the Olympics, there’s always an intense competitiveness between the two sports superpowers. But that rivalry extends to a lot more than the Games, as FBI Director Christopher Wray has spelled out in terrifying detail. China is determined to win where it matters -- in global supremacy -- and they’ll infiltrate any American institution to do it. In most cases, he warns, they already have.

Voter ID requirements make sense

Body
A young man who looks like a teenager walks into a liquor store and pulls a bottle of cheap whiskey off a shelf. He puts it down at the checkout counter and pulls out his wallet. The clerk at the counter looks at him skeptically. “Can I see your ID?” he asks.
