One local resident is trying to put an end to the wild hog epidemic. Lampasas County Farm Bureau member Mickey Edwards testified in early March before the Texas Senate Finance Committee at a hearing focused on the Texas Department of Agriculture’s budget. The budget, according to Farm Bureau, included a rider that prevents the agency from using a toxicant called warfarin to control feral hogs. …
