Lometa shot 16 of 19 from the free-throw line and 9 of 10 in the fourth quarter to put away Blum in the boys’ basketball area championship. The Hornets won 57-43.
On Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Brownwood High School, they will face Huckabay in the regional quarterfinals. Tickets can be purchased at the gate. The cost is $5 per adult and $3 per student.
