Taylor Creek Elementary honors 9/11 heroes

Taylor Creek Elementary School hosted a “We Remember Memorial” on Monday to honor the first responders who put their lives on the line during the 9/11 attacks in 2001. The event started with a parade featuring student-made memorial signs.

Grief support group begins its meetings for fall session

GriefShare is a recovery seminar and support group for men and women who have suffered the death of a loved one. The group meets in the First Baptist Church fellowship hall, 402 S. Key Ave. in Lampasas each Tuesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
