Museum names winners of annual tree decorating, gingerbread contests

In conjunction with the Carol of Lights festivities, Lampasas County Museum offered its Christmas tree Decorating Contest and a Gingerbread House Contest for area residents to enter.Theme for this year’s contests was “A Christmas Carol.”The following awards were listed.

TV series creator makes Storm’s stop

Burn ban lifted

County Judge Randy Hoyer has extended the order temporarily lifting the outdoor burn ban so that it now expires at 5 p.m. Dec. 15. Landowners are encouraged to contact the sheriff’s office at 512-556-8255 prior to conducting a burn.
