Clint Lang is posing a challenge to Mark Rainwater for the Precinct 4 seat on the Lampasas County Commissioners Court in the 2026 March Republican Primary election.If chosen by the voters, Lang said he will make it his focus to provide transparency and always keep his constituents in the loop.

Truck loses control, crashes into state trooper vehicle on U.S. 190

A Texas state trooper sustained no major injuries after a truck-tractor lost control and crashed into the trooper’s unit along U.S. Highway 190 Friday night.A news release from the Texas Department of Public Safety said at 11:18 p.m.
