Davis ready to serve as new fire chief

Lometa ISD honors students of the month, selects new board member

The Lometa Independent School District Board of Trustees met Tuesday to discuss academic goals, take action for equipment that will help outfit new programs, and appointed a new board member to fill the open seat.

PEC competes at International Lineman’s Rodeo

Pedernales Electric Cooperative lineworkers competed among the best in the world at the International Lineman’s Rodeo Oct. 15-18 in Overland Park, Kansas. More than 600 teams of lineworkers tested their skills in safety and power restoration at the competition.
