DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS Residents are reminded to turn clocks back one hour Saturday night, as daylight saving time comes to an end this weekend. Texas returns to Central Standard Time at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Registered voters will head to the polls Tuesday to participate in the statewide Constitutional Amendment Election. Fourteen amendments to the Texas Constitution are offered for voter consideration in 2023.

The city of Lampasas has begun its fall brush chipping program. Residents may place brush by their front curb for pick-up by city crews during the designated week for each quadrant of town, beginning Oct. 30 through Nov. 3 with the northwest – those homes north of First Street and west of Key Avenue.
