LCLA Reverse Raffle, auction raise money

Council considers seeking national sponsorship revenue for local parks

On Monday, the bulk of the Lampasas City Council meeting took place during the workshop session where members had a long discussion over the idea of national companies advertising at local parks and other city recreational facilities.

County will switch to CARR transit service, ditching HOP

Lampasas County will have a new transit service in 2026.During Monday’s Lampasas County Commissioners Court meeting, members approved a resolution to dissolve affiliation with the Hill Country Transit District, also known as the HOP, and to join the Central Texas Rural Transit District.
