Little Night Music draws crowd downtown

Participants with their lawn chairs drew up near the courthouse bandstand June 3 to hear Zach Morris and his wife entertain for the kickoff evening of the Little Night Music series. On the schedule for the June 10 performance is the Lucas Brothers Band. Free popcorn with water and lemonade will be served by the Courtyard Square Association.

Providence Christian Academy shares details for start of school

In preparation for its first school year, Providence Christian Academy posted a video on its Facebook page June 1 to share information about uniforms, an all-day pre-K and finalized tuition. Head of Schools April Dwamena said she personally loves uniforms, and that, as a parent, it prevents her from arguing with her children about what they’re going to wear to school.

Hamilton County car crash kills four

Commissioners to vote Monday on possible fireworks ban

Through an order from the Texas Association of Counties, the Lampasas County Commissioners Court will discuss and possibly vote on prohibiting fireworks in the unincorporated parts of the county. The city of Lampasas already has a year-round fireworks ban.

Korean veteran visits war memorial
