A year after the devastating freeze that resulted from Winter Storm Uri, the city of Lampasas and the county still are seeing the financial aftereffects. The storm plunged much of the state into subfreezing temperatures for 10 days, which exhausted the electrical infrastructure and caused massive power and water outages.
