In an address to Kempner residents on Thursday, Col. Chad Foster, Fort Hood garrison commander, said citizens and veterans alike should look to be unified by their differences.
“Veterans help connect the public with the military by sharing their stories and experiences,” the colonel said. “We must ensure that their sacrifice is not forgotten ... It’s only in the United States ...
