The Kempner Volunteer Fire Department was awarded a $5,000 grant on Nov. 17 through Project Axell, courtesy of the Daniel Stark Law Firm.
Project Axell is a mission of Daniel Stark, inspired by Amanda Ruble’s efforts to raise funds for the Leroy Volunteer Fire Department in Axtell. The goal of the project is to help underfunded fire departments in Texas.
