Texas Press Association named winners in its Better Newspaper Contest at the summer convention, held this year in Round Rock.
The Dispatch Record garnered first-place recognition in the Feature Writing category.
In addition, the newspaper received second place in Page Design, third place in Advertising, third place in Sports Photography and fourth place in Sports Coverage.
