Lampasas Chief of Police Sammy Bailey will retire on March 4 to spend more time with the family and community she loves.
Bailey cited a renewed focus on family as the primary reason for her retirement.
“My children were so young when I went into law enforcement,” she said. “I’d like to get back to family.”
