The report from the Aug. 30 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 525, compared to 544 last sale and 308 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were unevenly steady due to quality. Slaughter cows were steady, and slaughter bulls were $1-$3 lower.
Feeder cattle accounted for 67%. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for
33%.
