Lometa’s biggest annual festival, the Diamondback Jubliee, is canceled for the second year in a row. Stephen Ruzicka, president of the Lometa Lions Club which runs the annual event, made the announcement last week. In the past, the festival included a snake round-up, vendors, a rodeo, a queen pageant and live music. Organizers planned to hold last year’s event until it was canceled just days…
