The Adamsville Volunteer Fire Department and several nearby agencies battled a 150-acre grass fire near County Road 3800 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to the Texas A&M Forest Service, the fire was 95% contained as of Thursday morning.
Adamsville VFD Chief Dean Watson said he believes the fire was started by a man mulching cedar.
