Lampasas County Judge Randy Hoyer is temporarily lifting the current burn ban, effective immediately.
The burn ban was put in place back in April, due to drought concerns, as wildfires had begun spreading in different areas of Texas.
Yesterday’s rainfall however, is allowing for two days of burns, beginning today, with the burn ban being reinstated at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
