FRIO COUNTY HONORS LATE SHERIFF A memorial bench has been placed at the Frio County Community Fishing Pond as a lasting tribute to the late Michael Morse.Morse was elected Frio County sheriff in 2020 and served until his death in October 2024 after a battle with cancer.

Lampasas County Farm Bureau was recognized May 5 during the annual Lampasas FFA awards banquet held at the county show barn. More than 200 members and guests attended the event, where the Farm Bureau was awarded the highest FFA honor a local chapter program can bestow.
