The 26th Annual Tri-County Toy Run of Central Texas has been set for Dec. 2.
The ride will begin at 8 a.m. at the American Legion Post 133 in Temple, and it will finish at 4 p.m. at the 281 Café and Dance Hall in Lampasas. 

As a 10-year-old Norman, Oklahoma girl returned to class after a school bus crash on U.S. Highway 281 near the Lampasas Municipal Airport, her family has praised the Lampasas community for its support during a difficult time.

The Lampasas High School Class of 1958 held its 60-year reunion Oct. 20 at Country Kitchen. The turnout was commendable, class representatives said, with 27 out of 50 in attendance.
