The Lampasas Fire Department rolled up to Taylor Creek Elementary School last Wednesday to the surprise of the fifth-graders withstanding the chilly temperatures outside.
Students across all three elementary schools in the Lampasas Independent School District competed in a flag-making contest for Fire Prevention Week in October. The flag contest was the first competition of its kind.
