The Lampasas County Historical Commission will celebrate Archaeology Month in Texas with a program Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Lampasas Public Library, 201 S. Main St.
Boyce Cabaniss, a historical commission member and archaeology enthusiast, will present “Historic and Prehistoric Archaeology in Lampasas County.” He will support his presentation with artifacts he has found during numerous digs.
