The Lampasas County Historical Commission will dedicate its newest historical marker at 1 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Smith Cemetery, Browning Community on County Road 4700.
Rancher Watt Smith set aside part of his property for a community and family burial ground around 1875, which is the date of the earliest identified burial there.
