Soccer team closes district play with loss to Stephenville

The Badger soccer team’s regular season came to an end last night with a 5-2 loss to Stephenville on the road.The two goals in the match came from Juan Rodriguez and Parker Boykin, while an assist went to Chris Mendoza.Head coach Samuel Burnside said the man of the match was Rodriguez.

Girls’ soccer team battles with Stephenville

The Lampasas girls’ soccer team ended the regular season Tuesday with a matchup against Stephenville on the road. The Lady Badgers battled for the entire game but came up short in a 2-0 defeat.Head coach Kim Burnside said her team came out, played fast and competed hard for the entire 80 minutes.

Lampasas sending 14 boys to regional powerlifting meet

After a very successful powerlifting season, the Badgers are set to send 14 lifters to the regional meet in Gatesville on March 14.

Many Lampasas basketball players receive all-district honors

After one of the most successful boys’ basketball seasons in recent history, most of the Badger team has been recognized on the District 24-4A All-District selections.

Lampasas runners and throwers compete at meet in Lago Vista

Five Lady Badger lifters heading to state meet

Lampasas girls’ powerlifters traveled to Dublin last week for the regional powerlifting meet and had a lot of success. Five of the lifters did enough to qualify for the state meet March 20 in Edinburg.

Badgers complete second-half comeback over Gatesville

The Lampasas soccer team showed some grit and fought back after being down 1-0 at the half against Gatesville last Friday to win 3-1.“At halftime, I knew we were going to be fine from the looks on this team’s face,” head coach Samuel Burnside said.
