Alycia Cantu, a Lady Badger softball player, was the starting catcher for Team Red, the champions of an invitation-only USSSA softball tournament last weekend in Florida.

Cantu’s team was undefeated. All the invited players compete in four games, and there are seven teams in a class. Of those teams, the top 30 players are chosen to play in the championship game.
