The Lampasas Sluggers outscored their opposition 56-17 over five games in the 14U baseball district tournament and qualified for state. The tournament spanned four days.
The Sluggers won 18-2 on Monday, lost 9-5 on Tuesday but bounced back Wednesday to cruise to a 12-1 victory. In a double-header Thursday, they won 13-2 and 8-3.
