Mr. Izbicki

Hyman Izbicki of Lampasas lost his four-year battle with cancer on June 24, 2025.He was born on May 14, 1951, in Barletta, Italy, to Abraham and Rosa Izbicki.The family immigrated to the United States in 1956. They initially lived in Chicago and later settled in Sioux City, Iowa.

Gwan Delores Bell, 93, died on June 24, 2025, at Hillside Medical Lodge in Gatesville.Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on June 28 at 11 a.m., with visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at Hillsdale Cemetery in Izoro.

Sharon Rae McGehee, 81, died June 24, 2025, at her home in Lampasas.Services will be held at First Baptist Church on June 30 at noon, with visitation an hour prior. Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth.Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Michael James Holland, 78, died at his home in Lometa on June 17, 2025.He was born on Oct. 1, 1946 in Dallas to Billy James Holland and Sarah Catheryn Keith. He was a dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, greatgrandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Mr. Kuhlmann

Erwin Heinrich Kuhlmann, 86, died on June 12, 2025. A devoted soldier, gardener and man of faith, he lived a life of purpose and service.Born in Wallenbrück, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany on July 30, 1938, Erwin was the son of Friedrich and Klara Kuhlmann.

Joyce Wamsley, born on April 28, 1951, at Fort Hood, died peacefully on June 17, 2025, in Lampasas. Joyce was known for her kindness, strength and unwavering support to those around her.Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on June 23 from 6-8 p.m.

Andrew Steve Barzci II, 83, died on June 8, 2025, at his home in Lampasas.He was born on Nov. 2, 1941, in Akron, Ohio, to Andrew Steve Barczi and Loretta Hawlk.Memorial services will be held at Lampasas Methodist Church on June 21 at 1 p.m.
