Officers of the L-M Garden and Civic Club have decided to cancel the annual Christmas party, originally planned for Dec. 21, in light of the rise in coronavirus cases.
A group text message was sent to members to notify them of the decision.
The garden club hopes to resume its meetings in the new year, with the next gathering set for Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. in the club building in Lometa.
