Architect unveils bold vision for downtown area along creek

‘What I’m trying to figure out is how to create a way to enhance the creekfront to become a new kind of place to build various kinds of housing, a place people want to go and walk around.’

Stuart Alderman, an Austin-area architect, provided a glimpse of how the Lampasas downtown district could blossom by utilizing mixed-use zoning.

Alderman’s remarks came at Friday’s Forward Lampasas meeting at First Texas Bank. Alderman’s presentation was purely hypothetical and based on the city’s current comprehensive plan.
