New budget and tax rate approved by City Council

A new tax rate and budget are in place for the city of Lampasas for the fiscal year 2024-2025 after the Lampasas City Council approved both on Monday night.The tax levy has been set at 34 cents per $100 in property valuation.

Commissioners Court OKs tax rate of $0.55

After two public hearings on the 2024-25 fiscal year budget and tax rate, the Lampasas County Commissioners Court approved both items in its Monday regular meeting that followed.Commissioners approved a tax rate of $0.55 per $100 in property value -- a 6.89% increase from the 2023-24 rate of $0.
