In a narrow 3-2 vote, the Kempner City Council agreed to lower the speed limit on Sidewinder Street to 10 mph. The action came during Tuesday’s regular meeting after resident concerns were noted about the existing 30 mph limit on the street.
Council members also received the city’s 20242025 fiscal-year audit and approved a resolution opposing the Lampasas Central Appraisal District’s 2027 budget.
