The report from the Dec. 9 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 1,078, compared to 670 last sale and 443 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $5 lower. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were steady.
Feeder cattle accounted for 87 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 13 percent.
