The report from the Dec. 2 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 670, compared to 864 last sale and 643 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, stocker calves were $6-$8 higher; feeder calves were steady. Slaughter cows were steady, and slaughter bulls were steady to $2 lower.
Feeder cattle accounted for 82 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 18 percent.
